Michele Carey, also known as Michele Lee Henson, is the daughter of Stanley Willard Henson, Jr who was a physician, and Thelma Burell Henson. Her birthplace was in Annapolis, Maryland, United States of America and was born on 26 February 1942. As a teenager and a professional pianist and took home a prize at the Chicago Music Festival. Her family settled in Fort Collins in Colorado, and she completed her high school studies at Fort Collins High School in 1960. In terms of her professional career, she relocated in Los Angeles to seek better possibilities. Her initial career path was modeling as she got hired by the top modeling agency, Powers agency. When she was still modeling her passion grew, and she began to become more interested in acting. The actress caught the attention of Hollywood producers while she was doing it. Her work was at Powers Agency before venturing out into the world of acting. In 1966, her role as Josephine Joey MacDonald in El Dorado attracted more interest.
